Who Are We, Anyway?
Jeff Barriss
Jeff made a personal affirmation to be fit by 40. Not only did he reach his goal, but he ran road marathons, trail marathons, and ultra-marathons in the process. He’s done triathalons of the half-iron, sprint, and Olympic length. Throw in a few duathlons and more than several dozen road races, and he started to feel he’d made his point.
Jeff is NSCA certified, Kettle Bell certified, and is a certified personal trainer. He’s got an in-depth knowledge of nutrition and can swap healthy recipes with the best of them. Jeff strives to stay abreast of the latest fitness and health techniques. Most importantly, he understands where you are in your fitness goals, he knows where you want to be, and, with hard work and dedication, he is ready to take you there.
Julie Pino
Julie is the mother of three small busy boys. Julie has become an accomplished road and trail runner. She is a 0600 certified instructor and has been on board with us for a year. She understands the restraints of motherhood and is eager to help people achieve their fitness goals.
Karen Kezerian
Before Karen became an 0600 trainer, she was an 0600 client for a little over a year. She came to us wanting to feel comfortable wearing a bathing suit on an upcoming vacation. Needless to say, she has reached her goal and continues to embrace her new healthy lifestyle. After a full year of extensive training in 0600 training style and philosophy, Karen is happy to take on personal training clients of her own.
Equipment Used
Exercise Bands, Medicine Balls, Agility Ladders and Rings, Bosu Balls, Steps, Dumbbells, Kettlebells, Barbells, Our Signature Rifles, TRX suspension trainers, Balance Disks, just to name a few. Much of the class will involve using your own body-weight for functional resistance training.
